VOLUNTEERS, INTERNS, and WILD VILLAGE MENTORS

Nature Philosophy programs need your support!

VOLUNTEERS and Mentors

We have numerous opportunities throughout the year for past participants to both volunteer and mentor with Nature Philosophy's adult and family programs.

When you join our team as a volunteer and mentor you’ll deepen your wisdom of wild earth skills, learn what it takes to be of service to the tribe and become an important part of our growing community. You’ll also have a huge amount of fun!

We are currently seeking volunteers for the following programs:

Wild Village Family Camps (prerequisite: previous experience working with young people/families and a current Working with Children Check)

Over the years, the Wild Village Mentor program has been developed into an amazing opportunity for new (and returning) mentors to learn, grow, and become a part of our wonderful community. It is important to us and our families that all mentors who attend the Wild Village are able to uphold the Wild Village cultural model.

We also ask that all new and emerging mentors support us in creating this space with a financial contribution, covering their food and venue expenses.

Nature 1 (Prerequisite: Nature ONE or TWO)

Vision Quest (Prerequisite: Quest Protector Training in the Stalking Wolf lineage)

These programs are wonderful opportunities for volunteers to gain a deeper mastery of survival skills, nature connection practices, rites of passage facilitation and of course their own personal growth journey.

We ask that volunteers support us in creating this space with a financial contribution that covers their food and venue expenses.

interns

Nature Philosophy Co-Founders, Kate Rydge and Sam Robertson, sometimes offer a personalised Intern Program that runs throughout the year.

Interns are asked to make a multi-program commitment (3 - 6 month period) which enables them to become Assistant Instructors behind the scenes at Nature Philosophy programs. Interns will become a part of our extended family, receive regular mentoring in both survival and awareness skills as well as gain experience with the many facets of program coordination.

Prerequisite: At least 2 Nature Philosophy programs.

Applications: Can be made in person with Kate and Sam or via email.
