BARE Weaving Co-Founders, Katie Rydge and Ingrid Riverstone are super excited to be offering this extended weaving program.
Through this training you will deepen your understanding of place through learning a broad range of global weaving techniques, as applied to your local native fibres and eco dyes.
This training is ideal for you if you ready to embody your own unique weaving style and explore weaving as an ancient craft.
If you are also keen to teach after this year-long immersion you will also gain an understanding of how to holistically teach successful weaving experiences.
To apply you need to have already attended a BARE Weaving Retreat, hold a desire to teach weaving in your local area and/or be an active weaver or string maker keen to seriously advance your skills.
Immersion begins in 2025 at a weekend intensive 7th - 9th February.
